Nokia TSA-1010 GSM 900/1800 - Support for New Very Long M-PESA Messages

The fourth time in the same week, and even after making a balance request and subsequent M-pesa transaction in tandem on 18/05/2025 no M-pesa message reached the device, the device in question, Nokia TA-1010 or the Nokia `105.

This particular nokia a 2G GSM operates at 900/1800 MHZ, a perfect frequency for sms but not in recent times though specifically with regards to M-PESA messages, around May 20th onwards upon switching my simcard from an IOS device to the nokia 105, i was sure i had a pending transaction on M-pesa, no sms was sent to the device even after half an hour. 

Deleting existing messages from the inbox and sent sections had no implications at all, i am not quite sure whether the device had a software glitch that made it not receive messages in time considering i had a stable network (i was near at least one cell tower) or could it be a difference in operational frequency for new GSM devices and ISPS. This probbaly means acquiring a similar Nokia 22, and checking to confirm whether that is actually the case.

The messages were immediately sent when i switched the sim-card back to IOS.
